Cassandra Monahann
About
Cassandra Monahan is an attorney with extensive courtroom experience who represents clients in civil litigation matters. Before joining Leventhal Swan Taylor Temming PC, she spent nearly six years practicing criminal defense, where she developed significant experience litigating complex legal issues, trying cases to juries, and advocating for clients at every stage of a case. Her criminal defense practice took her to court nearly every day and included successfully arguing an appeal before the Colorado Supreme Court.
Originally from the East Coast, Cassandra moved to Colorado in 2020 to begin her legal career. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology from the University of Maryland in 2017 and graduated cum laude from American University Washington College of Law in 2020. While in law school, she served as Senior Note & Comment Editor of the American University International Law Review and as a student attorney in the law school's clinical program.
Cassandra brings to her civil litigation practice the courtroom experience, attention to detail, and commitment to client advocacy developed through years of representing clients in high-stakes matters. She approaches each case with careful preparation and a focus on understanding her clients' goals and developing an effective strategy to achieve them.
Cassandra is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Colorado and was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.
Outside of the office, Cassandra enjoys running, skiing, hiking, and spending time with her dogs.
