About
David Law is a Law Clerk in LSTT’s Denver office, where he supports the firm’s employment and civil litigation practice groups. His work includes legal research, drafting pleadings and briefs, discovery support, case analysis, and assisting attorneys with litigation strategy and trial preparation.
David primarily works on employment matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, disability accommodations, leave laws, and workplace compliance issues under both federal and Colorado law. He also has experience handling complex civil litigation matters, including business disputes, probate litigation, fiduciary duty claims, breach-of-contract matters, personal injury cases, and medical malpractice matters.
Originally from Colorado Springs, David earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2021. He first joined the firm in 2018 and returned to LSTT in 2026 after gaining additional experience in litigation-focused legal support and employment law roles, including work with Holland & Hart and Spencer Fane. Prior to beginning his legal career, David worked as a bodily injury claims adjuster before transitioning to plaintiff-side legal work and eventually attending law school.
David currently serves in a senior legal support capacity while preparing for readmission to the Colorado Bar, which he anticipates in early 2027. In the meantime, he continues to apply his litigation experience, legal analysis, and advocacy background to support attorneys and clients across a wide range of complex matters.
Known for his analytical thinking, strong writing skills, and attention to detail, David approaches each matter thoughtfully and works collaboratively with attorneys and clients to help develop organized, effective case strategies aimed at achieving the best possible outcome.
